The Journey Of Love Begins

It has truly been exciting to see the way that the community and churches are coming on board to help us with this endeavor! We invite YOU to participate by contributing with your much needed prayers, your time to help, maybe those scraps of material you have been waiting to do something with.

The first set of 40 dolls are on their way to PERU! We have been given requests from different churches in places such as Haiti, Uganda, Romania and in the States, South Dakota!

We are inviting ANY Missionaries that would like to take Dolls On Mission to the Mission Field to CONTACT us and we will do all we can to fill that need.

It has been so exciting to watch what God is doing. Almost unbelievable! At one time we were wondering if we should do something to allow us to get the money needed for supplies. We were soon to find out that God had already spoken to hearts for His work that He was allowing Grace and me to be a part of. Individuals who work with us started bringing their own materials and freely gave their time and love to be able to send these dolls out.

We came home one day to find 6 bags of stuffing at the door. The children at church jumped in and started making salvation bracelets. A neighbor volunteered to make cards for the bracelets. Material started to come in from friends and women in the church and neighbors. I can’t begin to tell you how blessed we felt AND excited we were.

What we didn’t know was God had already touched hearts to send requests for 500 more dolls besides the ones already in Peru. There is nothing small about our God. Sometimes, He does things in a BIG way. Other times it’s a quiet still whisper to your heart.

Nevertheless, we are so excited women are coming on board to cut and sew. We know these dolls will go places we can’t afford to go. They will touch a child who may have lost everything in an earthquake or has never had a toy at all. No matter where they go they will bring God’s love to those who may never know they are loved and that they are not alone.

These dolls are given FREE. The only request is; if it is at all possible to get us a picture of the children from wherever they go, this would truly be a blessing. Then we can show the children making the bracelets that there is a real child at the other end of the love and time they put into each bracelet.

It is our sincere desire that any group, organization, church, or individual who cares about missions, will contact us with any questions or request you may have. We would be honored to come and speak to anyone interested in the dolls.

Sincerely,
Joanne Mucci and Grace Barrett
