Dolls On Mission is an organization of volunteers who come together and hand make dolls for children and hurting hearts around the globe. We are not affiliated with the group that is making dolls and dogs on Morgan Mill Rd. We are NOT a toy ministry, it is a Heart ministry. Our ministry from God is to make these dolls to get the Word of God out across the world. The purpose of these Dolls is to bring Love, Joy, and Peace to children and adults in impoverished nations, shut-ins, the homeless and people around the world who are suffering either from poverty, natural disaster, and various catastrophic circumstances.  All of the materials are donated by individuals and organizations.  Click here to see a list of items which are always needed.

As the ministry keeps going, God has shown us to include these dolls for children whose parents are public servants; including each branch of the military, police fire and medic.  We provide special dolls for children with cancer.  We have made some of the sweetest dolls without hair for children who are suffering with cancer.  We also make dolls in honor of a child who has passed away or any loved one that you would like. Please click here to see the names of your loved one listed. If anyone needs these locally contact us to request them. There is NEVER any charge!

This is accomplished through a message presented in the form of Salvation Message Beads worn around the necks of each doll. A card in the child’s language (translations by Alan Simpson) is attached explaining the message of the beads and what each color bead represents in the story of Salvation.  The dolls also include a prayer card that teaches the child how to pray for their parents or others in their lives.  These cards are also translated into any language that you request.

Each Doll has 2 sides.  The first side is a sad face which represents life with OUT Christ.  The second side is a happy face which represents life WITH Christ.

This ministry was created when my good friend Grace Barrett and I read an article in MOSAIC Magazine. We read about a church that was making these dolls and sending them to children in other countries and thought:  “What a wonderful way to spread cheer AND the gospel around the world.”

We took the concept and ran with it. Each Bead is a different color: Black, Red, White, Blue, Green, and Yellow.  Based on the Salvation Bead Bracelets you may have seen the colors represent the following:

Black= Represents sin.  It’s sin that separates us from a Holy God.  For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

Red = represents Jesus Christ’s shed blood.

White = represents what Jesus does with our sins.  Through Jesus Christ, God made a way for us to find forgiveness from our sins.  HE washes them white as snow.

Blue = represents Christ’s resurrection.  When the stone was rolled away from the tomb and the sky turned from gray to blue.

Green = represents life.  When we ask Jesus to come into our hearts to forgive us from our sins and to be our Savior.  He changes on the inside and gives us a new life.

Yellow = represents heaven.  HE promises us we will spend eternity with HIM in heaven.

Even the scraps of material from the dolls are used to make Quilts for the homeless shelter & for children in the hospital & other places.  We also send extra scraps for It’s A Girl Thing who in turn makes sanitary pads for young girls in Africa.  So, as you can see, nothing goes to waste.

It is our sincere desire that any group, organization, church, or individual who cares about missions, will contact us with any questions or request you may have. We would be honored to come and speak to anyone interested in the dolls.
